HERE IS US

Terms of Service

These terms explain how you may use here is us and what happens to your membership and shared space.

Last updated: November 2, 2026

1. Who provides the service

here is us is operated by DAW Converter ("we", "us"). You can contact us at support@hereisus.com. These terms govern your use of our website and browser-based software. By creating an account or using the software, you agree to these terms.

here is us provides an invitation-only shared space for two people who already know each other, with a memory book, daily questions, casual games and a virtual pet. We do not provide matchmaking, professional relationship counselling or medical advice. Public questions and activities are conversation prompts, not a diagnosis, compatibility assessment or promise of a relationship outcome. Either person may skip any prompt or activity.

2. Your account and connection

Sign in with your own Google account and keep it secure. The service is not intended for children under 13. You must also meet the minimum age for consenting to data processing where you live, or have any legally required guardian permission. To purchase a subscription, you must have the legal capacity to enter the purchase contract or the authorisation required by law. Do not impersonate another person or share access to your account.

An invitation connects two separate accounts. Share invitation links only with your intended person. Either person can end the connection from Settings, and doing so affects both accounts. You are responsible for deciding what to share with the other person.

3. Free access and paid membership

The public question and activity library is free to use without an account. In the signed-in app, free access includes one complete shared tower, its automatically saved first memory and one room piece to choose and arrange. Each account can participate in one introductory experience. Further shared games, new memory pages, daily questions and pet care require an active membership. Free access does not automatically become a paid subscription.

A free first-tower invitation connects two accounts. A membership purchased by either participant gives both access to one shared room, shared questions and games, a shared memory book and one shared pet. The invited person does not need a second subscription. Our pricing page describes the available billing intervals and included features.

Photo limits are shared by both participants and carried by the paying account: 1 GB total photo storage, and up to 200 new photo uploads or 100 MB uploaded per calendar month, whichever is reached first. Months reset at midnight on the first day in Asia/Shanghai time. All page types with photos and retained photos from that paying account's former connections count toward storage. Replacing a photo uses a new upload allowance. Deletion frees total capacity after the stored photo is removed, but does not restore monthly uploads. Existing content is not automatically deleted at the limit; new uploads pause, while reading, exports and permitted text-only changes remain available.

Membership provides access to hosted software for the paid period. No physical goods are shipped and no permanent-access licence is sold. You need an internet connection and a compatible web browser. Access is associated with the signed-in paying account after payment confirmation. If a payment succeeds but access is not available, contact support with your receipt reference.

4. Payments, renewal and cancellation

Paddle is our merchant of record and authorised reseller. You purchase the membership from Paddle, which handles checkout, payment collection, applicable transaction taxes and receipts. The Paddle Buyer Terms govern that purchase; these terms govern the software we provide.

Make it ours costs $9.99 USD per month or $99.99 USD per year. The annual plan is charged in full each year. Your selected plan automatically renews for the same billing interval until cancelled. Review the total, currency, applicable taxes and billing frequency shown in checkout before paying.

Cancel renewal before the next billing date through Settings → Manage billing, the link in your Paddle receipt, or Paddle buyer support. Ordinary cancellation stops future renewals and leaves access available until the current paid period ends. Cancellation does not automatically refund an earlier payment. Refunds and statutory withdrawal are explained in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Ending a connection, signing out or stopping use does not cancel a subscription. The paying account remains responsible for managing renewal. We will communicate material price or subscription changes before they apply, as required by applicable law.

5. Shared content, expiry and separation

Personal content is not automatically copied into a new shared space. New memory-book entries created while connected are shared with your partner. Daily answers are revealed according to the activity rules, including requiring both people to answer where applicable.

If membership expires while you stay connected, existing shared content remains available to view and export, but new shared interactions and edits pause. Participants who completed the introductory tower can continue arranging their already-owned room pieces. If either person ends the connection, both lose normal access to the former shared world and memory book. Shared objects and pets do not move into individual rooms. A new connection creates a new shared space, even if it is with the same person.

After separation, the memory book is unavailable for reading or creating entries until you connect again. The export in Settings lets each former participant download retained content from that shared space. A partner may retain an exported copy. Ending a connection does not delete that copy, and we cannot recall copies another person has already downloaded.

6. Your content and permitted use

You retain your rights to the photos and words you upload. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to operate the service, provide the sharing you request and meet legal obligations. Upload only content you have permission to use and share. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

Do not upload illegal, abusive, pornographic, sexually exploitative or infringing material; harass another person; access someone else's account; bypass access controls; or disrupt the service. Do not use the service to sell sexual services, arrange paid encounters or conduct gambling. We may restrict access or remove content to address misuse, security incidents or legal requirements. Contact support if you believe a restriction was made in error. A restriction does not remove any refund or other remedy required by law.

7. Virtual pets, decorations and games

Pets, decorations and earned treats exist only within this software. They have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for money, and are not sold as transferable currency. Games do not involve wagers, paid entries or cash prizes. Earned rewards may have daily limits; they do not give ownership rights over the software or a right to any financial return.

8. Availability, privacy and your rights

We aim to keep the service available but cannot promise uninterrupted operation. Keep exports of content important to you. Please report material faults so we can investigate and provide any remedy required by law. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact us about disputes or complaints. Material changes to these terms will be communicated through the site or an appropriate account channel; your mandatory rights continue to apply.
